TFC is a medium sized family business, founded more than 25 year ago by Mr. Rolf Käufer, a veteran pilot for one of Germany's largest charter airlines. Rolf soon realized the high demand for airline training and technical services within the Aviation Industry and so formed his own pilot training company more than a quarter of a century ago.

His sons, Frank and Christian, inspired by their father's dream and passion for the Aviation Industry have elevated TFC on the world's stage, that today TFC is recognized as a world leader in the design and construction of cabin trainers as well as owners and operators of 3 TFC Training Centers catering to the needs of both, pilots and cabin crew.

TFC is a leading manufacturer of cabin simulators employing state of the art technology and is also successful in providing aviation training. This places TFC in a unique position, always on the leading edge of current training trends and able to respond rapidly and effectively with product improvements to meet those challenges. TFC bridges the gap between supplier and customer needs.

Capt. Christian Käufer, an active pilot qualified on Airbus A320, 321, 330, 340 aircraft manages the TFC Training Centers located in Düsseldorf, Essen and Munich. His team provides aviation training to pilots and cabin crew for many of the European carriers.

Managing Director Frank Käufer heads the technical side of the company in the construction of Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainers and other training devices. Frank and his team of engineers developed the first official A380 Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer for Airbus. Through his innovation and leadership, TFC is the market leader in all aspects of cabin crew training equipment for Airbus and Boeing operators.
